2014 – 2015

A photo series that ended up being edited, this project focuses on the housing crisis that took place in Spain in the late 2000's, and left thousands of unfinished apartments accross the entire country. I went there on two separate occasions, and travelled around the Madrid area to document how those modern ruins evolved since they were abandoned when the bubble exploded.

Few of those ended up being inhabited, but most of them remain unfinished, as a reminder of how greedy banks can litteraly ruin an entire country's housing market along with its economy.
